Inside the station building, there are gender toilets located on the left and right sides. Both sides of the station are equipped with one ambulant toilet and one unisex accessible toilet & parent room. If the family room on one side of the station is in use, feel free to use the other side of the station.
Picnic Area
Our picnic area is currently under construction.
Pram Parking
Places to park your pram is limited. It’s recommended not to bring one. If you need to park it, then there is a spot inside the station building to the right.
Accessibility
There is often a long standing line to obtain a ticket. If this will cause any issues, please use the ambulant entry, which is accessed by the ramp.
The trains, along with the guards, will continuously blow their whistles throughout the day. Please be prepared for these loud noises.
If you are riding a Steam train, please be aware that the smoke and embers can come into contact with your body. If this will cause any problems, please ask the Station Master to put you in a carriage further back.
We are currently building new accessibility carriage that has swinging doors that allow for easy entering into the carriage. In the meantime, the Station Master will do what they can to help ensure easy entering and exiting of the carriage.
Harcourt Facilites
Families can find a public playground just down the road. Food can be obtained at several outlets within the town.
